This is my Recipe Project. I chose this assignment for Weebly because I got a 4 on this project, which I'm proud of, and I love my art. I also decorated a lot of pictures of the items you need for the recipe because I thought the audience would not get what I mean. The challenges into completing this were when I had to choose a food's recipe and finding out the portions of organization. I tried to be as understanding as possible, which it would lower your grade or raise the grade.
1.How does this assignment relate to the standard?
It relates to the standard because I would evaluate expressions by multiplying fractions which the standard expected and also I wrote expressions relating to numbers standing for letters or letters standing for numbers.
2.What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this assignment?
The steps for the project were first, I got a recipe list of a food, then I followed the steps of what fractions I need to divide and multiply. Then lastly I drew a picture, decorated it, and showed my work in the step of multiplying and dividing fractions.
3.This assignment demonstrates the following strengths...
This demonstrates that I know how to multiply and divide fractions successfuly without help from an adult or other people. Also I could show my work of multiplying and dividing fractions so others have evidence of my project.
4.I could have improved my work on this assignment by...
I could have improve on this assignment by showing more of my work so others know I really did it and I could have organize it from order so others know the steps I would take to understand this project easier.
5.How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
How I would apply these skills in either the real world or in future classes is when I have a project similar to this it would be one source of help and also these skills would be really helpful. Also if I want to be a math teacher then I would teach the students everything from what I learnedand maybe even assign them this project.
