Volcano Flat Structure Project ES3c-sd
1. Rewrite the standard in your own words. How does this assignment relate to the standard?
ES1d -The state of California wants me to know that earthquakes are unexpected movements along breaks in the Earth's crust called faults, and that volcanoes and fissures are places where magma reaches the surface. RST6-8.7 -Gather information put into words in a text with a version of that information in a diagram. This assignment relates to the standards because it shows the structure of an volcano and in a diagram that has labels for information.
2. What are the steps you took to complete and do well on this assignment?
The steps I took to complete this were first, I labeled the parts of a volcano in a diagram with a picture of it. Then, I decorated the parts with markers, cotton, crayons, straws, and paint.Lastly, at the back of the diagram I stapled a seperate sheet of paper together with an essay that has the explanation of why I put the decoration and the name and description for each volcano part.
3. This assignment demonstrates the following strengths..
This assignment demonstrates that I know how to label a volcano diagram easily, I know how to describe each volcano part, and that I know how to do a project like this.
4. I could have improved my work on this assignment by...
I could have improved on this assignment by adding more informations for each part of the volcano and also I could have added more feature to the decoration so that people really know how it looks like mostly.
5. How will you apply the skills you learned from this assignment in either the real world when you are an adult or in other classes while you are still a student?
I would apply these skills to the future life or class by using it for a source of help for a test or project and if I wanted to be a scientist or teacher this would be one of the project I would assign or test this to the students on labeling volcanoes and writing an essay on it.
